Well, that was unexpected
I found out this morning that, due to budget cuts, my position will be terminated as of June 15. I was assured that it had nothing to do with job performance but it’s obviously still a bit of a bummer.
So, if anybody knows about potential job openings (preferably in Richmond and preferably in the non-profit tech field), I’m all ears.

Yesterday we had a coordinated Twitter meme to create false facts about the movie E.T. It was fun, but it really made me want to share this story:
When E.T. came out in the summer of 1982, I was four years old and my family had just moved from Michigan to Texas. At some point shortly after our move, my mom took my sister and me to see E.T. at the local theater. I don’t really remember...
