That’s a real bummer. But, instead of being mad at Chicago for having a more prestigious tweetup than Richmond, I’m trying to find a way to get myself to the Windy City on April 10. I hear there are really good hot dogs there.
I know everyone is buzzing about the San Francisco tweetup this weekend (and rightfully so) but don’t forget that EXACTLY ONE MONTH FROM TODAY, Richmond will be hosting a tweetup of its own which promises to be just as fun.* Go to http://southeastgathering.eventbrite.com to see more information and RSVP.
*This is not an actual promise.
GUYS LOOK AT THIS! FOR SERIOUS!
Ye Olde Richmond, VA is having ourselves a lil’ Tweet-up and you are all invited! Hooray!
Please visit: http://southeastgathering.eventbrite.com/ to sign up and get a little more info.
Our plan is to have you come to our great city on Friday night and then officially tweet-up on Saturday at Havana ‘59 (http://havana59.net/) where we will get drunk and make overused Favrd jokes ALL NIGHT!
We’ve discussed meeting for dinner somewhere beforehand, but wanted to see who was interested in visiting our fair city first.
Contact moi (danaynay804@gmail.com) or @JephKelley (jeff.g.kelley@gmail.com) for more info or help finding a homeless shelter in which to stay.
Please retweet, oh Internet friends.
That’s right, motherfuckers! Mark your calendars now! We’re having a Civil War-themed tweet-up at a Cuban restaurant. (Nobody said it had to be thematically consistent.) Come witness my dizziness first-hand while drinking mojitos and eating ropa vieja! It’s going to be epic.
Tonight I hung out with @CcSteff, @jkubicek, @vmarinelli, @danaynay, and @JephKelley and they are all hilarious and I might be drunk.
Happy hour with @jkubicek and @CcSteff (and @vmarinelli and @JephKelley and @burwell and @dickchiclets and @edwardbbaldwin, not pictured).
